So I’ve been neglecting this little space of the interwebs lately. Mea culpa. I’ve been in and out of edits and second round beta reads lately.
I have been receiving a lot questions lately. So I thought I’d take the opportunity to bring folks up to speed with some of the more common questions…
What is this book about?
Ah ha! The million dollar question. The book is about a lot of things, really. But at the very core of the story is a young woman who is striving to stand on her own two feet. It’s about falling in and out of love and lust and all of the gray space in between that is filled with doubt, despair, and trust. And it’s about paving your own path in life no matter the circumstances.
Yeah. That’s what it’s about.
I saw you mentioned something about a new title? What gives?
True story! I do have a new title! And…it’s actually my fourth title. And assuming it resonates with this round of beta reads, I’ll be sharing it with the world. So sit tight just a little bit longer. 😉
When are you releasing?
There is a release date! It will be at the end of September…September 26th to be precise. Which also happens to be my birthday. It will prove to either be one of the greatest birthdays in the history of birthdays! Or…rank right up there with the time my mom said I was getting a dog and she bought me a digi-pet instead.
Can I get an ARC?
Possibly! My esteemed PR gals will be assisting with eARC distribution prior to release. So let Sharon or myself know if you’re interested and we’ll try to make that happen!
What’s your cover going to look like?
I am SO excited to be working with Najla of Najla Qamber Designs. I feel like everything she touches turns to gold and her work is breathtakingly beautiful. We’ve already done a bit of brainstorming and should have the design nailed down by early September. Expect artsy. Out of the box. And totally gorgeous. It reflects everything I hope, and believe, this book to be.
I’m sure there are more questions floating around out there. So feel free to email them my way or post them in the comments section!
Cheers, my dears!
