Thank you for the respect you give authors when you leave a less than desirable review. We know you don’t like doing it just as much as we don’t like reading it. But it reminds us that books and creativity are all subjective. Imagine how frustratingly boring life would be if we all loved the exact same thing. Our words can be polarizing and draw out a spectrum of reactions. And that’s a beautiful thing.

Thank you for taking a chance on a debut no name author. All of the greats started somewhere and got to where they are with your support. Anytime you pick up a debut novel and like what you read, you have the power to help bring them to the next level.

Thank you for tirelessly spreading the word about the books we write and introducing us to so many new readers who otherwise may not have heard of us.

We all hate saying “no.” But we understand that you are just one person, one team, and you may not have the capacity or bandwidth to take on our book at any given time, no matter how much you may want to. There are so many hours in the day to read and review. And we understand those hours need to come after things like family, work and your personal sanity.
