Ahhh!!! Afternoon Delight is DONE and ready for the #MOMFAIL anthology! It’s been a long time since I’ve been *this* excited about a lil’ short story (and yes, it’s short — about at 15-20 minute read, but OH SO MUCH FUN!).
My ARC Team has the story loaded on their kindles and the early feedback is nothing short of fantastic. Tara is one of my most favorite characters I’ve ever penned as she is the epitome of a ridiculous mom desperately trying to get everything right from her sex life to raising her triplet boys to not be little assholes.
Having read a handful of the pieces, I can say with complete confidence that #MOMFAIL is one book that is totally different than anything else on the market. No, you don’t need to have kids to appreciate the stories inside … hell, you don’t even have to LIKE kids to enjoy the book. Birthquake: A Labor Update
As of this week, my upcoming release, BIRTHQUAKE, is now at the mercy of my editor. As is, Afternoon Delight, my contribution in the forthcoming epic anthology #MOMFAIL. (Which, by the way, has its cover reveal NEXT WEEK! So if you haven’t signed up, mosey on over here and get on that, my dear!)
So now I’m left in that odd state of limbo … where I’m looking at a few different story ideas and trying to decide if — and where — I want to jump next. Or if I want to curl up and hibernate for a while. Because let’s be honest, we could all go for a nap.
I can go angsty. Or saccharine love so sweet it’ll make your tummy ache. And then there’s this new romantic comedy idea swirling in my head that gets me way too excited. But I know it’s
